Numerology guide
Your ruling number (also called the psychic or mulank number) comes from your day of birth. In Indian numerology each number from 1 to 9 is ruled by a planet, and the gemstone of that planet is traditionally linked to the number.
How to find your ruling number
Add the digits of the day you were born until one digit is left. Born on the 28th: 2 + 8 = 10, 1 + 0 = 1, so your ruling number is 1.

The destiny (bhagyank) number is the sum of your full date of birth reduced to one digit. Some numerologists consider both numbers when suggesting a stone.
Crystal bracelet or gemstone?
Numerology crystal bracelets are gentle and can be worn daily. Astrological gemstones such as Neelam or Gomed are stronger in tradition, so check your full chart with an astrologer before wearing them. See the Navratna guide.
