Vastu guide
In Vastu tradition, each direction of a home is linked to an area of life. Crystals are placed in the direction that matches what you want to support: north for wealth, the entrance for protection and the northeast for the puja room.
Placement chart
| Purpose | Direction / spot | Popular crystals |
|---|---|---|
| Wealth and money | North (direction of Kuber); cash box or work desk | Pyrite, citrine, green aventurine |
| Protection | Main entrance | Black tourmaline, selenite |
| Puja room, clarity | Northeast | Clear quartz, crystal Shree Yantra or pyramid |
| Love and relationships | Southwest, bedroom | Rose quartz pair |
| Study and focus | Study desk | Amethyst, fluorite, clear quartz |
| Calm sleep | Bedside | Amethyst, selenite |
Pyrite at home and office
Pyrite is the most popular Vastu crystal for money. A pyrite cluster, geode or pyramid is commonly kept in the north of the home, near the cash box, or on the work desk. Keep it dry and dust it gently.

Crystal pyramids are believed to focus energy and are often kept in the centre or northeast of a room. Geodes and clusters are believed to spread energy in all directions.
Keep crystals clean
Dust collects on display crystals. Recharge them with selenite or moonlight; see how to cleanse crystals.
